Supplier Spotlight | Sonic Tolfa

We’ve been introducing you to some of our favourite suppliers over the last while and so far we’ve gotten to know photographers Con O’Donoghue and Sasson Haviv better. We’ve also had a chat with singer Stella Bass and today we’re going to get to know Sonic Tolfa, the house band who are a regular fixture at our sister restaurant Suesey Street’s Friday night Supper Club.

Sonic Tolfa have been playing on Friday nights in Suesey Street since January 2017, diners have loved the soundtrack they provide so much that we’ve brought them back week after week.

We recently had a chat with the guys in the band so that you can get to know them better.

Tell us About Sonic Tolfa

We are 3 musicians consisting of two guitarists and a sax/ percussion player from different musical backgrounds.

Tell us About Your Business

We play gigs in different venues and for different events supplying our clients with a mix of genres from jazz to classical music to add an atmosphere to the setting.

Tell us About a Wedding That You Enjoyed Working on

We played at a wedding in County Wicklow, at a hotel by the sea, for the day after the wedding. We played outside in the garden while the people sat around eating and drinking, it was a beautiful day so we really enjoyed it and so did the people there.

What do You do When You’re not Working?

Go to the gym, relax, go out with friends, practice new songs and new techniques, compose music.
