October 3rd sees the return of our Autumn Wedding Open Evening and is your opportunity to come and take a look around our Georgian home. Our doors will be open from 5-8pm to new and recently engaged couples and our expert events team will be on hand to answer your wedding-based questions.
Who will be here?
We’ll have some of our favourite wedding suppliers on hand to talk to you about your special day. You’ll have an opportunity to talk to everyone individually and roam the halls and rooms of the building, all while enjoying drinks and light refreshments prepared by our skilled chef team.
Music and mood
On a musical note, we’ll have harpist Deirdre Seaver adding a touch of elegance as you arrive. Stella Bass will be in the Gandon Rooms singing exceptional jazz classics in her unmistakably versatile voice. John and Julien, an instrumental guitar duo, will be sharing their soothing sounds. Last but not least DJ Marty Conor will be on hand for all of your wedding DJ requirements.
Fabulous photographers and videographers
If you’re wondering what to look for in a wedding photographer we’ll have two of the best in the business here to showcase some of their favourite weddings and talk to you about your big day. Rita Slattery and Sasson Haviv have both photographed a variety of weddings in No. 25 and know all of the best places to take photographs here. Each has their own individual photography style so take some time to chat with both of them about your wedding vision.
If you’re interested in a wedding video as well as photography then Emma from Edithouse is the lady you need to see. She’ll be here to talk to you about videoing your big day; if you’d like to see some of Edithouse’s work in advance take a look at this clip they created for a recent wedding here. The ceremony took place at No. 25, with the reception held next door in our sister business Suesey Street, so you’ll get a good idea of what your day could be like with us.
Flowers to inspire you
We’re very pleased that Blooming Amazing will be joining us again, they always create the most beautiful floral arrangements. We’re sure that they’ll have some autumn inspired arrangements to share but they can create wedding arrangements appropriate to any time of the year. Be sure to talk to them about your flowers, regardless of your preferred wedding season.
To have and to hold
Registered solemniser Berenice Farrell will be with us from Spiritual Ceremonies to talk you through the practicalities of a spiritual ceremony. She’ll explain the legal aspects and differences between a civil and spiritual ceremony, and the various elements that you can choose from to make your day even more special to you.
